Member Sunrise Hike - Tuesday, October 3 at 6:30 am
Join Friends of Shelby members for an early morning stroll around Lake Sevier. We’ll have the chance to see birds and maybe even spot an otter! Coffee provided!
Shelby Society River Float - Thursday, October 5 at 5:30 pm
This exclusive event for our top-tier members ($50/month or $600/year) offers a float trip down the Cumberland River courtesy of River Queen Voyages. Sound fun? All the more reason to become a Shelby Society member and join us on the river.
Fridays by the River - October 6, 13 and 20.
All month long, FOS members receive a discount at Fridays by the River, featuring East Nashville Beer Works from 3 to 8 pm near the Riverside Pavilion.
Free Biscuit at Roy Meat Service - October 7 - 13
During the week of October 7 through 13, members can enjoy a free biscuit at Roy’s Meat Service from 7 am to 10 am. Present your digital member card for one free biscuit this week! All week! 605 S 19th Street

Member Sunset Wildlife Walk - Tuesday, October 17 at 5:30 pm
Members will gather on the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center back porch and then stroll out to Hidden Pond where we hope to catch a glimpse of the beaver and other wildlife in the area – bring a friend!
Bill’s Sandwich Palace - October 26 - 29
Everyone is invited to enjoy a specialty Shelby sandwich the last week of the month with a portion of proceeds going to Shelby Park and Bottoms. Members also get a free special treat with the purchase of a sandwich.
