TENNIS
The Shelby Park tennis courts are located next to the Shelby Park Community Center at 401 S 20th Street. There are four courts, and two have lights for evening play. Courts are open from dawn until 11 pm and are first come first served. When people are waiting to play, please limit your time to 30 minutes.
Kids Tennis Programs
Rally Cats Tennis was developed by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) of Tennessee to introduce kids ages 4- 10 to the game of tennis and keep them on the court for years to come! The program uses ability and age-appropriate equipment better suited for young, beginner players which means they are rallying sooner, getting less frustrated, and having more fun, which is the most important part! Rally Cats follows a “play to learn” curricula and incorporates a different character theme each session.
